What to do in Yelcho
We're nestled between two national parks: the trails of Pumalín to the north and Corcovado to the south, with Lake Yelcho in front of us. A good part of the day is spent on the water—fly fishing with a guide in the lake and the local rivers, or kayaking on the Yelcho River, which flows gently and offers plenty of opportunities for sightseeing. The rest of the day begins with walking: the property has its own trails through forest and meadow, leading up to the lake viewpoint, where everyone ends up taking their picture. Horseback riding is also available in the neighboring hills. And at the end of the day, there's the hot tub overlooking the lake, which is exactly what your body craves after any of the other activities.
