Land Transportation:
It is only possible to get to Yelcho en la Patagonia by land going through Argentina crossing the border at Puyehue (Osorno), to Villa Angostura in Argentina, bordering the Nahuel Huapi Lake that leads you to Bariloche. From the border to Bariloche there are 125 kms. of paved roads. From Bariloche to Esquel there are 300 kms. of paved roads, and from Esquel to Futaleufú there are 73 kms. of which, 40 kms. are dirt roads.
Temporary car insurance is required to drive in Argentina.

Air Transportation:
